Formerly Business Director at digital city guide Concrete Playground, John Buchan is tasked with driving The Urban List’s growth and innovation through brand partnerships and new products.
Buchan will be based in The Urban List’s Sydney office, reporting directly to director and founder, Susannah George.
George said she was excited by the expertise, experience and opportunity for innovation that Buchan brings to The Urban List team. “2015 has been a monumental year for The Urban List, seeing us expand into two new markets and announce our regional offering Metropolist all within the last six months,” she said.

The Urban List has seen audience growth of almost 200 per cent in 2015, establishing itself among the top digital lifestyle networks in Australia; its consistent execution of reader-led content translating to an audience of more than 1.4 million unique visitors/month.

The Urban List expanded to Perth and Auckland in August this year and is launching its regional network, Metropolist, next month.
