Tuesday TV Wrap: Bride & Prejudice Puts The Ring On Seven’s Ratings Finger

A strong showing from Bride & Prejudice – the most watched entertainment show of last night – and the always strong news/Today Tonight has handed Seven a convincing Tuesday night win.

Seven took off with 31.8 per cent of last night’s eyeballs, Nine had 25.6 per cent and the ABC and 10 tied for third with 17 per cent each. SBS had 8.5 per cent.

Seven’s 6pm news was the most watched show of the night with 908,000, followed by Bride & Prejudice with 653,000, Home And Away with 612,000 and The Good Doctor with 602,000.

Family Food Fight continues to give Nine a bad dose of ratings indigestion. The struggling foodie show could muster a mere 419,000 last night. Nine’s news had 828,000, ACA had 694,000, The Big Bang Theory posted 475,000 and Hot Seat had 448,000.

Over at 10, its standouts was again Ambulance Australia, which was the network’s most watched program, posting a respectable 539,000. The Project had 414,000, 10 News First pulled 350,000, FBI had 291,000 and Pointless could muster a mere 220,000.

The ABC’s night ran this way: 7pm news (709,000), 7.30 (612,000), Ask The Doctor (400,000), while Barrenjoey Road (374,000) was disappointing.

SBS’s best was Insight with 238,000 and Child Genius with 219,000.
