Looks like T-swizzle has scored herself even more social media love for NOT being featured in Triple J's Hottest 100 countdown.

So, basically, a youth radio station being hammered by a news website over the suspected exclusion of a pop singer in an annual music countdown announced it had not included the singer, then posted to social media an explanation – but the link to the explanation did not work – but then IT DID WORK, revealing a parody of the campaigning news website with a story listing “8 hilarious but totally true” reasons for not including the singer.

Now, calmly, step by step.

ABC youth radio station Triple J warned it would not include Taylor Swift’s hit song Shake It Off on its list of Hottest 100 songs to be announced on Australia Day.

Website BuzzFeed engineered a groundswell of support for the pop icon.

However, Triple J presenter Lewis McKirdy kicked off the Hottest 100 countdown at noon on Monday by announcing that Swift would not feature “for a whole range of reasons”.

At the same time, the Triple J posted on Twitter a link to “8 Hilarious But Totally True Reasons You Won’t Hear “Shake It Off” In The #Hottest100 #TkayForHottest100“.
