Today Network’s Dan & Maz Chauffeur Listeners In ‘Pamela Vanderson’

The Today Network’s Dan and Maz Show is partnering with Ambi Pur to launch a show car named Pamela Vanderson, which will be available for free, chauffeur-driven rides for listeners around Australia.

Given the car could end up anywhere and transporting anything; there is always a chance unwanted odours may hitch a ride. So Ambi Pur challenged Dan & Maz, hosts of the Today Network’s national drive show, to take the car on the road and keep it odour freefor 30 days! In what will be the ultimate test, the car – a converted 1974, pimped-out Kombi Van – will be available to be booked by listeners wanting to arrive in style with their friends to their favourite local events. Whether it’s a soccer match, a hens party, a golf tournament or even a pick up from the airport, Pamela Vanderson will be ready, complete with a private chauffeur.

With registrations open from today, the car will be available for six weeks, travelling to six different locations across Australia – Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth and Newcastle.

Pamela Vanderson can carry up to eight people and was born after Dan and Maz wanted a show car that could accompany them on their various adventures.

After asking listeners in July for their suggestions, she was chosen, and equipped with neon lights, animal print covered seats and a unique “ahooga” horn!

Ambi Pur brand manager Suraen DeSilva said: “At Ambi Pur we know all too well that at any moment, your car could be hijacked by bad smells. Our challenge to Dan & Maz with the Ambi Pur Road Trip around Australia is to make sure Pamela Vanderson doesn’t give odours a ride. We can’t wait to see how she will stand up to the 30 day odour free challenge regardless of where she goes or what she gives a ride to.”

Like any great vehicle, Pamela Vanderson is unmissable, wrapped in hilarious Dan and Maz imagery to ensure she stands out on the road.

Each weekend, Dan and Maz will create a recap video from that state, which will be live on Dan and Maz’s website.
