Thursday TV Wrap: Gogglebox Beats Bill’s Budget Reply Speech & The Footy

Thursday has become a night of footy, but it was 10’s Gogglebox that was kicking the goals last night.

Gogglebox pulled 579,000 according to overnight OzTAM metro numbers.

Seven’s AFL coverage of the Adelaide-Geelong match pulled 558,000, while Nine’s NRL game between the Roosters and the Broncos had 423,000.

Over at the ABC, Bill Shorten’s Budget reply did a respectable 459,000.

On the back of its 6pm news (884,000) and Home And Away (554,000), Seven convincingly won Thursday with 36 per cent audience share. Nine had 24.9 per cent, 10 pulled 17.4 per cent, the ABC had 14.7 per cent and SBS pulled 7.1 per cent.

Nine’s other highlights included its 6pm news (853,000), ACA (548,000) and Hot Seat (459,000).

Over at 10, The Project at 394,000, 10 News First had 357,000 and Just For Laughs 2018 Montreal Comedy Festival pulled 302,000.

ABC’s highlights included its 7pm news (568,000), 7.30 (393,000) and Escape From The City (329,000).
