The Bachelor suffered from a slight case of second night nerves, pulling 822,000 viewers last night, some 118,000 down on Wednesday’s debut.

Not that it’ll be too much of a worry for Ten chiefs, last night’s episode was still the most watched entertainment show of the evening and delivered the network a handsome 20.2 per cent of the audience.

Seven won bragging rights with 28.2 per cent audience share while Nine was nipping at its rival’s heels with 27.4 per cent. The ABC had 14.8 per cent, while Filthy Rich And Homeless’ finale gave SBS a jolt, it pulled in 9.3 per cent of Thursday’s TV watchers.

Seven’s 6pm news bulletin was the most watched show of the night with 1.02 million. Home And Away (645,000), The Chase (575,000) and The Front Bar (392,000) were the network’s other highlights.

For Nine, its night ran thus: 6pm news (886,000), ACA (732,000), Hot Seat (484,000) and the Broncos versus Rabbitohs match (460,000 in Sydney and Brisbane).

The Bachelor aside, Ten’s only other show of note was The Project with 480,000.

For the ABC, its evening ran this way: ABC News (726,000), 7:30 (477,000), Grand Designs Australia (444,000), Sammy J (337,000), Everyone’s A Critic (215,000), Think Tank (210,000) and Diana: Seven Days That Shook The World (178,000).
