Thrive PR Wins ASUS Account For Australia & NZ

Thrive PR + Communications has continued to expand its Trans-Tasman portfolio with the addition of consumer electronics giant ASUS to its roster.

The agency will be responsible for supporting the growth of the ASUS brand across both the Australian and New Zealand markets, driving a region-specific PR strategy designed in synergy with global marketing and sales initiatives.

Thrive will oversee all PR aspects for ASUS, including media and influencer strategy, and integrated communications.

Furthermore, the agency will lead the PR across the lifestyle and technology arms of the business, creating and implementing strategies for everything from personal-use PCs and laptops through to gaming PCs.

Portia Chang, regional director for Australia and NZ at ASUS, said: “After a competitive pitch process, we are delighted to name Thrive PR + Communications as our agency partner in both Australia and New Zealand.

“We believe Thrive is the right choice to support our key objectives, including our goals of growing ASUS’ PC consumer business in the premium notebook segment, driving commercial success for our extensive product range, and maintaining our leading position as Australia’s number one gaming brand and top-three brand in ultraslim form factor.

“The team demonstrated creative and strategic thinking across the corporate tech space and the consumer lifestyle space, both of which are imperative to the growth of the ASUS brand.”

Thrive PR managing director Leilani Abels said: “As an agency, our passion for technology runs deep. We’re extremely excited that ASUS, a company we have long admired for its world-class innovation and design, is joining our dynamic portfolio.

“Thrive’s sector experience, genuine passion and formidable relationships with media and influencers across both Australia and New Zealand means we are well placed to deliver high-impact, forward-thinking PR results for ASUS across ANZ.”

Thrive will direct activity for ASUS from both its Sydney and Auckland offices.
