The White Agency Raises $7,000 At This Year’s RSPCA Cupcake Day

Pie throwing, cocktails and cupcakes sees The White Agency raise more than $7,000 for the fight against animal cruelty at this year’s annual RSPCA Cupcake Day.

For the fifth year running, White held its annual RSPCA Cupcake Day, hosting an afternoon tea with lots of delicious baked treats as well as raffling off a range of donated prizes such as Uber vouchers, a month’s supply of coffee from Pier 8 Cafe and a Chappelli Cycles bicycle in order to help raise funds for the worthy cause.

In addition, the agency also hosted an auction and a pie throwing competition, where staff sipped on animal-themed cocktails while getting the chance to purchase a pie to hurl at their bosses, including managing director Andrew Davenport.

Event organiser and senior producer at The White Agency, Mauli Ryan said, “I have been heavily involved with animal rights and animal shelters for many years now but I really wanted to initiate animal welfare and charity support on a corporate level. The White Agency’s CEO Miles Joyce and all staff members have shared my passion since we began supporting RSPCA’s Cupcake Day five years ago so it’s been quite easy to rally amazing support for this great cause.”

Mauli continued, “This year was a major success – it was thanks to the dedication, support and generosity of everyone at the Agency, as well as local business, that we have been able to raise over $7,000 for the RSPCA.”
