The Hidden Dyson And Airbnb House Has Been Found!

After two weeks and 30,000 Australians searching Dyson and Airbnb unveiled The Hidden House. The reveal is the culmination of a 15 day competition to search for the unique Airbnb stay.

The geodesic dome has been built on one of Melbourne’s oldest Victorian town houses in Flinders Lane, Tonic House, and will remain in place for five days.

Taking inspiration from wrong thinking designer, Richard Buckminster Fuller and James Dyson’s design heroes, the home of the future features a mini Mini Cooper, ergonomic Eames chairs and light bulbs that stay bright for almost four decades.

Dyson ANZ marketing director, Caroline Bonpain said: “Airbnb prides itself on helping people belong anywhere and Dyson sees this starting with feeling comfortable in a clean space. The Dyson V6 Absolute cordless stick vacuum, delivers performance and convenience making cleaning hassle free. Allowing you to get back to the important things, like making guests feel welcome or enjoying your stay.”

Airbnb Australia communications manager, Dylan Smith said: “This truly Melbourne property adds to the 50,000 unique listings we currently have in Australia, giving an incredible opportunity to the guests lucky enough to experience it.

“Design is at the very core of Airbnb and we’re really excited to continue to offer up unforgettable travel experiences in Australia and across the world.”
