Ten Unveils Trailer For New Dating Show ‘Blind Date’

Network Ten certainly isn’t bored of the dating genre just yet, today unveiling a first trailer for its version of the UK television phenomenon Blind Date.

Playing cupid, comedy superstar and Blind Date host Julia Morris (pictured above), will be at the helm to help would-be suiters search for their ideal partners. Each week, one single person will ask three hidden potential suiters three questions to determine which person is very right, or horribly wrong, for them.

Check out the trailer below that looks to B&T – for those old enough to remember – remarkably similar to Ten’s famous dating show in the 80s, Perfect Match.

Using only the sound of the voice and the quality of their answers to choose his or her date, our Aussie singles will need to use sharp conversation and witty banter to find the right date for them.

Comedy and compatibility will go hand-in-hand as viewers then witness the reaction as the studio wall is rolled back to reveal the newly formed couple.

Ten is yet to confirm the launch date for the show.
