Ten Network Holdings Limited has announced the appointment of Dave Boorman as chief financial officer.

Boorman left Channel Seven in January after he spent two years as group chief financial officer at Seven West Media. In his new role, Boorman will report to TEN chief executive officer, Paul Anderson.

Anderson said: “I’m very pleased that Dave has agreed to join TEN. He is an outstanding executive and leader, highly respected by his peers, and has held senior roles at some of Australia’s largest media and telecommunications companies.

“Dave will bring a wide range of skills to TEN, covering key areas such as strategy, corporate finance, business management, people development and investor relations. His experience, talent, energy and enthusiasm will be a valuable asset to TEN.”

Boorman said: “I am delighted to be joining the team at TEN at such an exciting time for the company.

“The business is gathering momentum and that, coupled with the new strategic arrangements with Foxtel and Multi Channel Network, provide a tremendous new base from which to grow.”

The move is effective November 2, 2015.
