Ten Announces Second Series Of The Bachelorette

If you’re not sick of Bachelorette stories yet, Network Ten has just announced it will broadcast a second season of the reality love show!

However, the release issued this morning did not say who was going to be the next Bachelorette, nor when it was going to air, just sometime in 2016.

The first season, of which the finale aired last night, was a massive coup for Ten, bringing in a whopping 1.52 million viewers to see who bachelorette Sam Frost would choose, despite the Daily Mail spoiling the ending with photos of Frost and the man she chose.

Network Ten chief programming officer, Beverley McGarvey, said: “We are very pleased that so many Australians embraced The Bachelorette Australia and wanted to be part of Sam’s journey to find true love.

“The response from viewers to both the show and Sam’s story has been extraordinary. Like all Australians, we are delighted that Sam found Sasha and we wish them every happiness.

“We are also thrilled to announce that The Bachelorette Australia will be back in 2016. We cannot wait to start production on the second series and give Australia another wonderful love story,” she said.
