Telstra Teams With Apple Music For Special Offer

One of Australia’s largest telcos Telstra has teamed up with Apple’s new music streaming venture, Apple Music.

Apple announced its venture into music streaming early June, quickly coming under fire from Taylor Swift for not paying the artists for their music. Apple speedily responded, changing up its proposition.

Telstra is giving Australian music fans a great experience by offering eligible postpaid mobile customers a 12 month Apple Music membership.

Joe Pollard, GMD media and marketing said Telstra’s Apple Music offer reflects Telstra’s commitment to give Telstra mobile customers world class entertainment experiences.

“Our customers are telling us they want superior content and we are delighted to be the only telco in Australia to offer a 12 month membership to Apple Music,” she said.

“When you combine Apple Music with Australia’s best mobile network, you get a brilliant music experience that we know consumers will love. This is an incredibly exciting time for music lovers in Australia.”

Telstra’s offer of a 12 month membership to Apple Music is available to Telstra post-paid customers using iPhone with a 12 or 24 month Go Mobile Plan. At the end of the 12 month membership, customers can continue to enjoy Apple Music and a monthly membership fee of $11.99 will be billed to their Telstra account. Standard data charges apply to download and use Apple Music.
