Sunday TV Wrap: ‘I’m A Celeb…’ Finale Pulls 894,000, Big Bash Pulls 777,000

It appeared the couch was the place to be last night with MAFS, MKR and the I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here grand final all pulling decent sets of eyeballs.

10’s I’m A Celebrity… had its best numbers of the series with 894,000 viewers tuning in to see celebrity reporter Richard Reid crowned this year’s champ according to OzTAM metro numbers.

Nine’s MAFS still won the night with 1.29 million, while MKR posted 902,000. Seven’s coverage of the Big Bash cricket final reached a high of 777,000.

Despite I’m A Celeb’s numbers, 10 still came fourth in last night’s audience share with 16.4 per cent. Nine won the night with 32.9 per cent, Seven had 26.8 per cent, the ABC pulled 17.2 per cent and SBS managed 6.7 per cent.

Seven won the battle of the 6pm news bulletins with 916,000 to Nine’s 838,000. While 60 Minutes (661,000) beat Seven’s Sunday Night (416,000).

I’m A Celeb… aside, 10’s other highlights included The Sunday Project (356,000), NCIS (308,000) and 10 News First (235,000).

The ABC’s night ran thus: 7pm news (628,000), Magical Land Of Oz (515,000) and The Cry (481,000).

SBS’s best was The Kennedy’s: A Fatal Ambition which managed just 196,000.
