Foxtel today announced the October line up of complete seasons that will join the hit shows already streaming on Foxtel Anytime^ headlined by a collection of HBO hits that are returning to Foxtel screens.

In the wake of its record breaking Emmy Awards milestone, the worldwide phenomenon, Game of Thrones (seasons one-six) returns to stream on Foxtel Anytime. Season six of Game of Thrones shattered viewership records on Foxtel with the full season enjoying a cumulative average audience of more than 1.2 million viewers per episode – the most watched scripted series on Foxtel, ever.

HBO’s hilariously off-beat political comedy Veep, starring Julia Louise-Dreyfus also took home Emmy accolades and returns to Foxtel Anytime in October. Louise-Dreyfus stars as a former senator turned Vice President of the US offering subscribers a tongue-in-cheek look at US politics.

Foxtel Anytime’s key movies in October include the side-splitting comedy, Daddy’s Home with Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg; the ocean-going saga of man vs. nature, The Heart of the Sea, starring Chris Hemsworth; and incredible true story, Joy that centres of the life of a woman (Jennifer Lawrence) who founds a business dynasty and thrives despite betrayal and treachery from those around her.

Foxtel is home to a massive selection of many of the world’s most popular shows, from our own locally produced hits to must see programs from around the globe. Foxtel is available to watch when you want Anytime, Anywhere on-demand, via Foxtel Anytime^, on internet connected iQ boxes, through Foxtel Play and can be streamed to select tablets and smartphones through Foxtel Go all as part of an existing Foxtel or Foxtel Play subscription.

Foxtel’s On Demand service also features BoxSets and the new Binge channel, which allow subscribers to watch collections and selected series of some of the world’s greatest programs, including extensive libraries from HBO, Warner Bros. and other Hollywood studios.
