Star Wars Social Media Account Responds To Attack On Female Storm Trooper

As Yoda would say: “Question Star Wars costume department, do not.” Over the weekend, a picture of the costume for female Storm Trooper Phasma got some social media heat.

A Facebook commentator posted that Phasma, who is played by Game of Thrones actress Gwendoline Christie, didn’t look feminine enough.

“Not to be sexist,” the commenter wrote, “but it’s really hard to tell that’s female armor for me.”

Whoever runs the official Star War account responded back: “It’s armor. On a woman. It doesn’t have to look feminine”. Burn!
