Following the global rebrand of Mediavest Spark to Spark Foundry last month, the agency held a launch event at Beta Bar in Sydney last week.

Over a two-week period, the agency took the opportunity to present its new brand to each of the main media owners in Sydney.

The presentations were small workshop sessions called ‘Spark UpClose’, designed to introduce the agency, its leadership team and also to give them an understanding of who Spark is and the type of work the agency wants to do with its clients and media partners.

During the sessions, the Spark Foundry team, led by Australian CEO Sue Squillace, shared the agency’s new global proposition as well as its mission and vision, which is the way the agency has been talking to clients over the last 18 months.

This included Spark’s views on the future of media for marketers and clients, and seven key trends to look out for. Media owners were also presented video case studies of the agency’s best work.

The key themes for Spark are collaboration, partnership and innovation.

Spark also shared its growth of 20 per cent year on year, along with its client portfolio and opportunities and challenges for each of its top clients so that the media is across what types of initiatives to talk to Spark about.

The Spark Foundry launch party was the finale and a chance to celebrate its success and thank client partners, media partners and creative partners who have all supported the agency.

Attended by 180 people, including clients and media owners, the party featured a photo booth, a futuristic magician with fem bots, whiskey tasting bar and a DJ (see above for photos).

The launch party will be repeated in Melbourne this week.
