The man behind some ridiculously decadent and complicated desserts, Adriano Zumbo, has come on board as an ambassador for smoothfm’s Festival of Chocolate.

The support was announced at the media launch of the choc fest, with Zumbo standing alongside fellow chocolate festival ambassador and chef, Anna Polyviou.

When asked why the Festival of Chocolate appealed to him, Zumbo said: “Chocolate is just such a wonderful product. It’s a piece of everyone’s heart.

“It’s that little indulgence. It’s a wonderful industry. I’m very lucky to be a part of that industry.”

Too, celebrated chef Polyviou couldn’t decide between dark or milk chocolate. Could you?

The festival will return to the Rocks in Sydney this year in September, with the announcement last night it would expand into Melbourne too.

Head of create Andy Milne also hinted to B&T he was keen to get the festival all around Australia.

Last year’s festival, also at The Rocks, saw around 70,000 people come through. This year, smooth is hoping for 100,000.
