This week, the collaboration hub app Slack is making a colourful splash down under, with the launch of its inaugural outdoor brand campaign.

The campaign is aimed at helping Australian office workers and business travellers improve collaboration at work.

Running throughout November, the campaign “Collaborate with Slack” features out-of-home advertising in office buildings on the eastern seaboard, large format roadside billboards and airport advertising in Sydney and Melbourne as well as on all Qantas domestic flights.

For those that work in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane CBD, Slack’s campaign will appear across more than 1,900 screens in office lifts and lobbies, adding a splash of colour to our busy days.

Capturing the playfulness of the Slack brand, the campaign pops off screens and will be hard to miss if you’re heading to or from Sydney and Melbourne domestic airport this month; taking a break in Qantas’ Club and Business lounges; or waiting for the lifts in one of more than 200 select office buildings in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane CBD.

The short videos launched as a part of the campaign showcases how Slack enables collaboration and agile decision-making by bringing together the right people through its ‘channels’.

Slack VP of global marketing Kelly Watkins said: “The way we work is changing, people want to move quickly, feel engaged at work and have the autonomy to make decisions, and that’s what Slack enables as the collaboration hub.

“Our mission is to help people work together as easily online as they do in person by ensuring the right people are always in the loop and key information is always at your fingertips.

“This campaign aims to demonstrate what the future of work looks like.

“We have over 8 million Daily Active Users across more than 500,000 organisations around the world, and Australia is one of our key markets.

“We want to show Aussie workers that they can get their work done in a simpler, more pleasant and more productive way.”
