Seven deputy CFO Warwick Lynch will assume Mr Boorman's role as the company searches for a permanent replacement.

Kerry Stokes’ Seven West Media is searching for a new chief financial officer after it “reluctantly accepted” Dave Boorman’s resignation on Monday.

Mr Boorman’s departure comes six weeks after Australia’s No 1 commercial free-to-air network farewelled chief operating officer Nick Chan as the company restructured management and cut costs.

Mr Stokes said: “Dave has been an excellent contributor during his time with us, bringing improvements across many aspects of the business and impressing us with his approach”.
