Seven Teams Up With Netflix To Bring Back ‘Zumbo’s Just Desserts’

Seven Teams Up With Netflix To Bring Back ‘Zumbo’s Just Desserts’

Seven West Media is rolling the dice one more time with cooking show Zumbo’s Just Desserts, enlisting the help of streaming giant Netflix to commission a second season.

Despite the show’s debut season in 2016 rating poorly, B&T can confirm that Seven’s production house, Seven Studios, has signed a co-production deal with Netflix for season two.

The first season of Zumbo’s Just Desserts was developed by the creators of My Kitchen Rules, and hosted by celebrity chefs Adriano Zumbo and Rachel Khoo, with Gigi Falanga playing the role of their handy assistant.

Zumbo already features as a judge on another Netflix cooking series out of the US called Sugar Rush, which debuted earlier this year.
