SBS Appoints Joel Noble As SBS Head of Creative Services

SBS has appointed Joel Noble as SBS Head of Creative Services in the Marketing team. Noble joins SBS from the Collude Creative, replacing former Head of Creative Services Nol Davis who has returned to the United Kingdom with his family.

Reporting to the director, marketing, Amanda McGregor, Noble will lead the creative services and output for SBS Marketing, including promotion, advertising and brand communications for SBS’s distinctive programs and platforms to build on the organisation’s reputation and increasing relevance to Australian audiences.

Noble said: “I’m honoured to be joining Australia’s most unique broadcaster at a time of immense change and challenge in the media sector to continue ensuring the creative direction of the organisation reflects its very distinctive offering for audiences.”

McGregor said: “I am delighted to welcome Joel to SBS. Joel brings with him an incredible wealth of experience as a creative lead in a multiplatform media environment in which creative campaigns to support SBS content plays a big part in engaging audiences with our programs and services.”

Noble has been the director of Collude Creative for three years, responsible for delivering creative campaigns for clients including Foxtel, ABC, National Geographic Channels, Stan, Nickelodeon and Imagination. Previously he was General Manager of Foxtel Creative and Creative Director for Foxtel Factual Channels. He has also held roles at Tactic Creative Services and Nickelodeon.

Noble commences as SBS Head of Creative Services in July.
