Rod Prosser Appointed TVQ General Manager

Network Ten today announced the appointment of Rod Prosser as General Manager of its Brisbane and South-East Queensland station, TVQ.

Mr Prosser, who was Network Ten’s Brisbane Sales Director in 2010 and 2011, will continue in his role as National Head of Trading and Sport Sales.

Network Ten Chief Operating Officer, Paul Anderson, said: “Rod has been a key member of our Sales team over the past four years and he will continue to lead our Trading and Sport Sales areas.

“I’m delighted that Rod has also agreed to take on this new additional role. Brisbane and South-East Queensland is a critically important market for Network Ten and Rod will do a great job leading our business there.”

Mr Prosser said: “I am passionate about Queensland. My son was born in Brisbane, I have strong family ties in Queensland and I’m honoured to be taking on this role.

“I’m looking forward to getting back into the Queensland market, while maintaining my national Sales role, supported by our National Sport Sales Manager, Ian Smith, and Sydney Trading Manager, Grant Madigan.”

Mr Prosser joined Network Ten in June 2010 as Brisbane Sales Director after working in senior Sales roles at ACP Magazines and Nine Network. He was appointed Sydney Sales Director in 2011 and National Head of Trading and Sport Sales in August 2013.
