Radio Host Who Said “I Hate Polls” Gets Hilariously Roasted By Very Confused Polish Person

A British radio host has mistakenly been called out as racist after a very confused listener misinterpreted his comment, “I hate polls”.

Mike Graham had been broadcasting his show, The Independent Republic of Mike Graham, live from outside the British Houses Of Parliament when he discussed the recent results of a Brexit poll.

Graham remarked that he “hates polls” and “doesn’t trust polls”.

However, he soon received a phone call from an irate listener, known only as “Michael from New Malden”, who’d mistakenly believed Graham was talking about Polish people.

“You said that you don’t like Polish people and you don’t trust them,” Michael said angrily.

“You must’ve misheard me, I like Polish people a lot,” Graham replied. “I wasn’t talking about Polish people, I was talking about polls, like when you do a poll to find out what people think.”

Unconvinced, Michael then pressed the host, telling him: “No, but later on you said you don’t trust them.”

To which Graham replied: “No, I don’t trust polls and I don’t like polls, but that’s not Polish people.”

It’s at this point the penny appears to drop for a very confused Michael.

“Oh, that’s what I thought, that’s what I picked up,” he said. “In this case I never learned English.

“I was thinking ‘what the hell? What’s going on here?’ I must ring up and explain a few things.”
