Creative agency Hardhat is excited to announce that it will be partnering with Quit Victoria to develop a digital campaign designed to boost smokers’ confidence and success in stopping smoking.
Established in 1985, Quit Victoria is a program of Cancer Council Victoria, and is funded by VicHealth and the Department of Health & Human Services. Over the past 30 years, Quit has helped hundreds of thousands of Victorians give up tobacco and has championed societal and attitudinal changes towards smoking.
Dan Monheit, Hardhat co-founder and director of strategy said: “We spend a lot of time talking about ‘problems worth solving’, and it honestly doesn’t get any better than this. To be creating work that people desperately want to interact with, that improves health, saves lives and betters society, is really an honour and a privilege. We couldn’t be more thrilled.”
Dr Sarah White, director of Quit Victoria said the organisation was excited about the possibilities of creating better engagement with smokers online to help them build up their skills to quit and stay quit.
“Quitting is hard, but digital platforms can provide real opportunities to help people deal with the tough times and feel part of a supportive community. We look forward to working with Hardhat and tapping into their creative and technical expertise to develop the kind of truly innovative offerings Quit is renowned for,” she said.
