Dolly Parton, female music legend, is joining the team at smoothfm to host her own Sunday afternoon show from this Sunday 11 September at 4pm.

With songs like Jolene, I Will Always Love You and 9 to 5, Dolly Parton is one of the biggest stars in the music industry, achieving 25 number one singles on the Billboard Country charts and securing over 100 million in album sales, single sales and digital downloads across her illustrious 49 year career.

Parton is the most honoured female country singer of all time having received eight Grammy Awards, 10 Country Music Association Awards, seven Academy of Country Music Awards, three American Music Awards and in 1999 she was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame.

Dolly Parton continues to tour globally to entertain her fans all over the world. She is currently in the middle of her Pure & Simple 2016 Tour, supporting her 43rd studio album ‘Pure & Simple’ which is on sale now.

Outside of her music career, Parton has had a successful career as an actress having appeared in 12 movies, made numerous television appearances and guest roles and supported countless charity efforts, with a focus on literacy, through her Dollywood Foundation.

Dolly Parton can be heard on smoothfm 95.3 Sydney, smoothfm 91.5 Melbourne and on smoothfm DAB+ on Sunday afternoons from 4pm to 5pm.
