Printing Embellishment Firm Allkotes Launches Free Print Finishing App

Print Embellishment firm Allkotes has launched what it believes to be the first free print finishing app in the world.

After going live with a new market-friendly website, the printing house with offices in Sydney and Melbourne, has gone multi-platform with a user friendly app for IOS devices.

The app, available for iPhone and iPad, lists the company’s products in nine categories with additional product information available at the tap of a finger.

The Allkotes team says the app can provide inspiration as well as coming to the rescue for agencies and publishers. A spokesperson for the company said: “Let’s say your client is trying to describe an effect or a finish they are looking for but they cannot put it into words. This is where your experience and knowledge kicks in with the assistance of the Allkotes app.”

While the app is not available on Android, the Allkotes site is optimised for the platform.

The Allkotes team said Stephen Molloy, author of How Apps are changing the World, provided expert insight and guidance in the build of the app.

The Allkotes spokesperson said: “We hope the app opens new windows of opportunities for our industry to grow and be competitive on the world stage.”
