PHD Appoints Jordan Smith To Lead ANZ Business

Jordan Smith has been appointed as group business director on the ANZ Bank account at PHD Melbourne.

Smith replaces Simon Lawson, who has taken on the role of general manager for the agency after leading the account for the past five years.

Smith brings over 12 years of experience in media and marketing, as well as a wealth of knowledge about the insurance and banking sectors. She will leverage these experiences and skills in her new capacity, leading a team of 15 at PHD to manage the ANZ business.

“I first worked with Jordan over 10 years ago and have been trying to get her to come over to PHD for quite some time now,” commented Lawson. “I’m really pleased that she has finally joined us and I’m confident that her leadership skills and expertise will prove to be a great asset to both ANZ and the agency.”

Smith added: “I’m excited to be joining an agency with such a strong client focus and culture. PHD’s momentum in the market are truly remarkable, and working on a brand of ANZ’s calibre is a highlight in anyone’s career. I look forward to working closely with their team to continue delivering innovative thinking for their business. I can already tell that I’ll be leading a great team at PHD, so I’d like to build on the great work already happening across the ANZ account and strengthen the client relationship even further into the future’.

ANZ was PHD Melbourne’s founding client in 2012 and the two organizations have maintained an exceptional relationship ever since. Over the years, the agency has undergone significant business growth, including the latest win of the Carlton & United Breweries (CUB) account.
