Peter Stefanovic Posts Job Ad Following Exit From Nine

It appears former Weekend Today presenter Peter Stefanovic is hunting for a new job, with his management posting an ad offering his services in a media newsletter earlier this week.

The post in Social Diary’s newsletter on Monday said the journalist is seeking “any upcoming relevant opportunities” in the industry, and is open to “ambassador roles and MC/Hosting opportunities”, according to news.com.au.

“Peter Stefanovic has been on the ground for many of the world’s most recent historic events,” the post said.

“Peter has covered everything from the Iraq war, presidential elections, Golden Globes and many more over the course of 14-plus years.”

Stefanovic parted ways with Nine after 15 years in December to “explore new opportunities”.

According to media reports, Stefanovic’s removal was a combination of a lack of on-air chemistry, poor ratings and fallout from April’s now infamous ‘Ubergate’ scandal that also involved his brother, Karl.
