Out-of-home media agency BiteMe Media has announced it has launched in Sydney and Melbourne, and is aiming to become an industry leader in innovative experiential and sampling strategies.

BiteMe Media specialises in delivering unique brand experiences for its clients and customers by creating through its rentable, fully-brandable products.

The agency’s new first-to-market technology, the Smart Sampler, is an interactive vending machine that drives trial and collects data, allowing brands to continue conversations with consumers following the activation.

BiteMe general manager Cara Berthot-Craig said BiteMe Media was founded with the belief that rentable media should be accessible, innovative and help brands drive more engagements and conversions than ever before.

“Brands are seeking cost-effective and interactive solutions to place products directly into the hands of their targeted consumers,” she said.

“The purpose of the BiteMe Smart Sampler is to drive cost-effective trial of product, whilst enabling an ongoing two-way conversation with a brand’s target audience.  Using technology allows us to customise brand experience and maximise conversion to sales.”

Pedigree is one brand which has used BiteMe’s Smart Sampler technology to enable interaction with dog owners and drive a trial of Pedigree DentaStix in a cost-effective and targeted way.

BiteMe wrapped the digital vending machines in Pedigree DentaStix branding, placing the machine in a high-traffic shopping centre location.

The agency’s food trucks are the most sought-after rentable media within its portfolio, offering everything required for a successful and engaging campaign, with a fully-equipped kitchen (and chef if required), chilled storage area and easy rebranding.

The trucks are currently touring grassroots sporting grounds for a three-month roadshow sampling hot Milo. The two trucks, located in Sydney and Melbourne, are also available for day rentals, enabling brands of all sizes the opportunity to sample in this way.
