OMD Promotes Trading Director to Head Of Trading

OMD has promoted Andrew Brannaghan to the position of head of trading OMD Melbourne.

Andrew’s nine years’ experience in the media industry covers multiple categories including Auto, FMCG, Insurance and Retail across clients such as Mazda, BUPA Health Insurance and Fonterra.

Andrew started his media career with OMD in 2005 and most recently held the role of trading director where he was noted for delivering outstanding results for clients and building a strong team culture.

Andrew said of his appointment, “I clearly have very big Jimmy Choo’s to fill taking over from Margie. It’s such an exciting time to be part of the OMD family, and working alongside such talented people. We’ve built a market leading team in Melbourne, and I look forward to accelerating that momentum into 2015 and beyond.”

This news follows the recent announcement of Margie Reid’s ascent to Managing Director OMD Melbourne, “I am delighted to hand over the trading reins to Drue; he is an outstanding operator and truly respected amongst clients, staff, media partners and peers”.

Andrew Brannaghan will report to Margie Reid, his appointment is effective immediately.
