NOVA Entertainment has announced the promotion of Tamie Williams to the position of national head of direct sales.

This new position has been created to be the strategic lead for NOVA Entertainment’s local direct sales teams in the increasingly competitive radio market and beyond.

Peter Charlton, NOVA Entertainment’s group sales director said, “Tamie’s experience and heritage in our business and beyond, combined with her passion and disciplined sales approach, make her the ideal person to lead us into what will be the most important time for Direct Sales. She will retain her responsibility for the direct sales team in Melbourne in addition to her national role.”

Reporting to Peter Charlton, Williams will work with the direct sales managers across the country to lead the approach in this changing market. The national head of sales role will see Williams develop best practice solutions across all platforms and brands to ensure NOVA Entertainment continues to have a great appreciation of what is important in this rapidly growing and ever changing part of the business.

Williams said, “I’m looking forward to developing creative solutions across a national platform and building on our strong culture. We strive to create unique client solutions and at the same time seek feedback to continually develop strong and lasting relationships. The direct team across the country will help our clients take innovative steps and deliver them results.”
