Nine Officially Lifts Lid On New Look Nine.com.au

Last week, Nine gave us a sneak peek at its fresh digital rebrand, and today ninemsn.com.au has officially relaunched as nine.com.au, complete with a new look, new logo, and a new way of connecting Australians to the latest news stories.

Editor, Emma Chamberlain, said, “For us, today is far more than just a logo change for our network. The launch of nine.com.au cements our place in the Nine family.

“In practice, our digital editorial team now works more closely with the broadcast teams, and the scale that gives us opens up a whole new world of storytelling possibilities, especially in video.”

With news, sport, lifestyle and entertainment content, the new look website links consumers to 11 well-known brands, including 9News, Wide World of Sports, video-on-demand product 9Now, entertainment site 9TheFIX, lifestyle sites 9Honey, 9Coach, 9Pickle, 9Homes, 9Elsewhere, 9Lifestyle, and the newly launched food destination, 9Kitchen.

Commenting on the relaunch, Nine’s chief digital & marketing officer, Alex Parsons, said, “It’s a destination that has played a pivotal role in the hearts and minds of consumers for close to 20 years and this next great chapter is set to be our most exciting yet, as we set about creating a more powerful media ecosystem that provides consumers with the widest breadth of content, delivered in a more synergistic way across all of Nine’s platforms.”

The launch of the updated digital space will be supported by a multi-million-dollar marketing campaign, including television advertising, radio, digital outdoor, magazines, targeted social media, search, as well as tapping into the company’s on-air program integration.
