News Corp’s Strategy & Innovation Chief Exits

News Corp Australia’s head of strategy and innovation, Alice Almeida, has left the publisher after nine months.

Almeida, who was on maternity leave, announced her departure earlier this week on social media.

A News Corp spokesperson confirmed to B&T that Almeida had left the company and said a replacement will be announced in due course.

Prior to joining News Corp in September last year, Almeida was the manager of innovation and insights at Hitwise. She has also held roles at APN Outdoor, Fairfax Media and Nine Entertainment.
