New Sydney Convention Centre Appoints History Will Be Kind
Integrated Communications agency History Will Be Kind (HWBK), has been appointed by International Convention Centre Sydney (ICC Sydney) as its social media, content and PR partner.
HWBK will work as an extension of the ICC Sydney in-house team; underpinning the marketing and communications activity in the lead up to the December 2016 launch.
HWBK operates at the crossroads of public relations and social media. The initial engagement for ICC Sydney includes a communications, social media and content strategy, alongside press office function and B2B communications outreach; building a consistent narrative across multiple platforms and devices.
Due to open in December 2016, ICC Sydney is hailed as the centrepiece of the NSW Government’s AU$3.4 billion transformation of Darling Harbour. ICC Sydney is an AU$1.1 billion world-class development by Darling Harbour Live, a consortium comprising of venue manager AEG Ogden, construction company Lend Lease as well as Hostplus, Capella Capital and Spotless.
Alongside this appointment, ICC Sydney is working with HWBK’s sister agency Deepend during the crucial pre-opening phase. Deepend has been engaged to construct an intuitive and feature rich digital platform to engage audiences on an international scale, which will mirror the ICC Sydney’s innovation excellence using a combination of traditional and immersive technology solutions.
