The endless churn of Princess Diana tributes continued apace last night, not that it would appear TV audiences seem to particularly care.

The latest was Seven’s Diana 7 Days last night, the broadcaster apparently keen to milk the 20th anniversary of her death for yet another tedious time.

Last night’s outing pulled 467,000 viewers with no suggestion this could well be the last we see of the much loved princess.

However, it wasn’t enough to win Seven the night with Nine taking the honours, snaring 29 per cent audience share. Seven was close behind with 28 per cent. Ten was again beaten by the ABC (18.2 per cent versus 17.5 per cent), while SBS mustered 7.3 per cent.

Nine’s The Block continued to do the business with 1.1 million viewers. Karl Stefanovic’s tearjerker This Time Next Year pulled 764,000, but is down 40 per cent from its debut.

Seven’s Hell’s Kitchen continues to have a terrible time of things and managed only 547,000 last night.

Over at Ten, Have You Been Paying Attention? pulled in 668,000, while Australian Survivor battled to 575,000.

The ABC’s Monday night of current affairs continues to do well and its evening comprised: 7pm news bulletin (768,000), 7:30 (621,000), Australian Story (638,000), Four Corners (537,000), Media Watch (442,000) and Q&A (440,000).

The best for SBS was its Diana-free Spying On The Royals that managed 263,000.
