Monday TV Ratings Wrap: Seven’s ‘The Real Full Monty’ Outstrips Nine’s Ninjas

Seven’s one-off TV special, The Real Full Monty, has triumphed over Nine’s Australian Ninja Warrior and guided the Seven Network to an overall win last night.

According to the overnight OzTAM figures for the five-city metro market, 1.03 million people tuned in last night to watch a group of male celebs get their gear off on Seven.

Ninja Warrior drew a season-high of 974,000 viewers for Nine, and Ten’s MasterChef attracted a decent 872,000 sets of eyeballs.

In the news bulletin stakes, Seven led Sunday night with 1.82 million viewers, while Nine registered 1.1 million, ABC had 618,000, Ten pulled 311,000 and Lee Lin Chin’s farewell bulletin clocked 220,000 viewers.

Seven was the number one network overall last night with 33.7 per cent, followed by Nine (28.7 per cent), Ten (16.7 per cent), the ABC (14.3 per cent) SBS (6.5 per cent).
