Meet Our Creative Winner From 2016 Women In Media Awards!

In today’s profile of fabulous women who took the crown at our recent Women in Media awards, we get to know Elle Bullen, the senior creative for Clemenger BBDO Melbourne, and find out why she’s such a deserved champion.

Elle Bullen is a force of nature. She’s hip and shouldered her way through the ranks to become one of Australia’s most awarded creatives.

She’s the co-head of AWARD School in Victoria, helping educate and mentor 50 creative whippersnappers through the three-month course, and has spent the last four years at Clemenger BBDO Melbourne. Here she’s created campaigns for the likes of VB, Libra, Carlton Dry, Bonds, Four ‘n’ Twenty, Mars and the TAC.

Elle is the creative lead on Drinkwise Australia, and her campaign “How to drink properly” has proved hugely successful, winning BRW’s marketing innovation of the year in 2015, and ranking 19 on the WARC list of marketing campaigns.

More recently, Elle created the Rider Reminder for the TAC, an innovative product solution to remind drivers to look for cyclists before they open their car door. It was launched with the support of Tour de France winner Cadel Evans, and manufacturing orders had to be doubled in the first week to cope with demand.

Elle won her trip to the Cannes Festival of Creativity by taking out the Gold Siren Award for the best radio ad of 2016, the first woman to ever win that trophy.
