MediaCom’s Melbourne Managing Director Departs Agency

MediaCom Australia has announced that the Managing Director of its Melbourne office, Peter Barrie, has left the agency.

Peter has moved on to pursue other opportunities. Peter Barrie directly reported into Mark Pejic, CEO MediaCom Australia.

Day to day operations will be fulfilled by the current energetic, fresh, future focused Melbourne senior leadership team of Gareth Nicholls, Brett Elliott, Luke Simpson, Mike Deane and Anny Havercroft, who will be supported by Mark Pejic, CEO MediaCom Australia and the National leadership team, until a replacement can be found for Mr. Barrie.

Peter joined MediaCom as a New Business Director in February 2012, becoming Managing Director of its Melbourne office in January 2013.

Mark Pejic, CEO MediaCom Australia, said “Firstly I would like to personally thank Peter for all his hard work and dedication to the company, Peter Barrie’s departure does not in any way interfere with our ambitious plans for the future of our business in Melbourne. We regret to see Peter leave the company and wish him well.
