Livefyre And Salesforce Join Forces To Create More Engagement Solutions

Content marketing and engagement platform Livefyre has announced a strategic partnership with Salesforce to create dynamic digital communities and engagement solutions for mutual customers.

The two companies are uniting their industry-leading platforms to make it simple for Salesforce Community Cloud customers to find, manage and centralise content from external social networks in order to educate community participants, increase engagement and influence participant behaviour.

The Salesforce Community Cloud is a platform that provides companies with the tools and intelligence that they need to form genuine connections with their customers. The recent launch of Salesforce Lightning Components builds upon this platform, offering add-on building blocks that make the process of integrating applications quick and painless for customers. As one of the first Lightning Components within the Salesforce Community Cloud, Livefyre will enable customers to drag and drop applications containing real-time social content from social networks into their user experience.

According to the “Forrester Wave: Social Depth Platforms 2015”, in which both Livefyre and Salesforce Community Cloud were named leaders, “B2C marketing professionals seek ways to weave dynamic social content and experiences into their branded websites. This evolution is driven by the age of the customer. Buyers actively seek out social content that will help inform a purchase.”

This new integration enables customers to:

  • Drag and drop Livefyre applications from the Salesforce Community Builder onto Community driven pages
  • Activate their audience, raise brand awareness and build customer loyalty by providing targeted, personalised content in a single platform
  • Easily collect, manage and implement engaging, real-time social content in dynamic experiences
  • Provide social discovery and moderation, from one platform; saving marketers both time and money.

“Communities have evolved into the connective tissue bringing companies closer to their customers, partners and employees,” said Jordan Kretchmer, CEO and founder of Livefyre. “Incorporating Livefyre’s leading real-time social applications into the Salesforce Community Cloud provides companies with the engagement and reach they need to strengthen bonds like never before.”

“At Community Cloud, we are always looking for new ways to help our customers stay ahead of the curve by making it quick and easy to add the latest technologies and capabilities to their communities,“ said Mike Micucci, Senior Vice President of Products for Salesforce Community Cloud. “This new integration of Livefyre with Community Cloud, which uses Lightning Components and doesn’t require coding, allows our customers to have even more ways to drive personalised, contextual experiences for each community member.”
