Leo Burnett Panel Set To Put Content That Connects Under The Microscope

Tonight, a panel of industry innovators will examine how we can develop the new creative thinking needed to succeed in our ever-changing media landscape during a Leo Burnett-hosted event at Vivid Ideas.

Change Your Mindset: Creating Content That Connects will feature an interactive panel discussion exploring how creative practitioners including strategists, producers, creatives and publishers must change their habits and cultivate a content mindset in order to stay relevant and infiltrate culture in the new media age.

The panel features a cross-section of leaders in their fields including:

  • Chris Janz – HuffPost Australia CEO,
  • Adam Ballesty – Diageo Head of Innovation and Marketing,
  • Liz Anderson – Facebook Client Partner,
  • Linda Tran – Leo Burnett Strategy Director, and
  • Kieran Ots – Leo Burnett Creative Director

Pete Bosilkovski, CEO Leo Burnett Sydney, said: “The rise of native content is changing the way we think about advertising. Moving from always-on to always-now content.

“No-one is immune from the impact and those who don’t respond will be left behind. Creatives, producers, strategists, marketers and publishers must rethink their approach to keep up with changing demands and behaviours of people who are increasingly online and mobile. There’s no going back. No standing still. This event will explore the way forward.”

Leo Burnett Sydney’s social media director and event curator Emma Parsons added: “There is no magic bullet. Responding to the new landscape requires a multi-disciplinary approach. Our panel will pick apart the creative and strategic approaches delivering effective content in ways that re-capture attention and connect.”

DATE: Tonight, Thursday 2 June, 2016

TIME: Complimentary drinks and canapés from 6pm, panel discussion starts 6.30pm

LOCATION: Rosyln Packer Theatre, 22 Hickson Rd, Walsh Bay
