Landor’s managing director Dominic Walsh is looking forward to continuing to grow his team after a strong 2014.

“Both Ashling and David bring solid experience across a range of sectors, and will complement our expanding Landor team. After a record 2014, our recent acquisition of NorthandSouth and additional new hires earlier in the year, we are excited to continue to expand our corporate and innovation offering to clients,” said Walsh.

David Sutherland is a 10 year veteran in branding and marketing, specialising in corporate strategy and identity. He is looking forward to returning to Landor Sydney to lead the client service team and head up key client engagements across both corporate and FMCG sectors.

“My approach to branding and marketing is through designed thinking, and the understanding of customer centric insights to solve business problems. I’m passionate about identifying the key role of technology and innovation within my client’s business, and how it can drive real results,” said Sutherland.

Prior to returning to Landor, Sutherland held a senior role at RE: Brand Consultancy (M&C Saatchi) where he led the client service team. He has worked on numerous highly recognisable Australian brands including Telstra, Commonwealth Bank, Optus, Westfield, Vodafone, BWS, eftpos, George Weston, and Slater & Gordon.

Since moving to Australia in 2012, Withers has worked at independent branding agency Principals as a new business and account manager, responsible for developing and driving new business outreach, managing the agency profile and online presence and account management for clients such as Efic, Red Cross Australia, TravelManagers and The Group of Eight.

Prior to this she spent over four years in brand marketing at leading FMCG organisation General Mills in the UK, working across their portfolio of brands on strategic brand building, packaging, digital, PR and new product development.

“I am looking forward to bringing my range of client and agency experience to deliver engaging and relevant communications to prospective and current clients, and help Landor maintain its leading voice in the industry,” concluded Sutherland.
