Kyle Sandilands Offers DEVAST8 Tattoo Guy A Job Live On Air

New Zealander Mark Cropp made international news when the 19-year-old went public with his inability to find any gainful employment due to a facial tattoo that reads “DEVAST8” plastered across his face.

But it was Kyle Sandilands to the rescue after he offered the former convict and father of one a job as his own personal driver.

Sandilands was interviewing Cropp on his Kyle and Jackie O show on KISS FM yesterday when he offered him the role of personal chauffeur.

Sadly, Cropp’s on parole and it prevents him from leaving New Zealand.

“I think I’m going to lose my license soon from the highway patrol being too overzealous, and I thought you were in Australia and I thought, ‘oh I’ll give you a job driving me around’,” Sandliands said.

“But that’s a bit useless, it’ll take you three hours every day on a plane.”

Cropp revealed he’d been offered free laser treatment to remove the tattoo that he got while in prison, however, the downside was that it would make him look like “you’ve got blackheads all over your face”.

“Wouldn’t you rather have ‘Devast8’?” Sandilands enquired. “Or people will say, ‘shit that fella’s got a lot of blackheads’.”

Cropp revealed it was his own brother who gave him the tattoo when they were both drunk in a prison cell together. He said he was unaware of the size of the inking until he woke-up the next day.

“It wasn’t planned, I only wanted a fancy one down my jawline, then it escalated from there,” Cropp revealed.

“Yeah nah, I seen it and I was a bit taken back, I was like, ‘f*ck, yeah, it’s alright’,” he said.
