KIIS101.1 & iHeartRadio Australia Create SunKIISed Wonderland For Iconic St Kilda Festival

ARN’s KIIS 101.1 and iHeartRadio Australia teamed up to create a SunKIISed Wonderland and celebrate everything summer as part of Melbourne’s iconic St Kilda Festival.

Now in its 37th year, the St Kilda Festival is an annual celebration of Australia’s hottest musical acts and art exhibitions set on the spectacular St Kilda Foreshore.

Marking the third year of ARN’s partnership with the iconic summer festival, the SunKIISed Wonderland drew inspiration from the US Burning Man Festival and was an area where festivalgoers could sit back and unwind.

Simply by downloading iHeartRadio’s new app, festivalgoers could enter the SunKIISed Wonderland, set amongst a giant flower installation created bespoke for the event.

The weather didn’t dampen the excitement for festival goers with many opting to snuggle up in the SunKIISed wonderland under cosy KIIS blankets to listen to the New Music Stage while others lined up to personalize their festival experience with hair braiding, make-up, body art and the chance to win amazing prizes.

iHeartRadio Australia also created a custom St Kilda Festival station devoted entirely to the event, showcasing the artists of the festival, which can still be enjoyed now.

ARN chief marketing officer Anthony Xydis said: “The St Kilda Festival is always a fantastic day celebrating music, art, and community on the beautiful St Kilda Foreshore. We are proud to once again be the exclusive commercial radio and music streaming partner of the iconic, annual event, uniting hundreds of thousands of festivalgoers who enjoy performances by some of Australia’s hottest musical acts.

“We are thrilled that the SunKIISed Wonderland was such a popular addition to the festival.”
