Key Sales And Marketing Appointments At APN Outdoor Sydney
APN Outdoor has announced key personnel changes within their Sydney Sales and Marketing teams; internally promoting Ben White from account manager to GSM and newly hiring Nicky Akom in the capacity of MOVE manager and senior researcher.
Mark Fairhurst, general manager- sales, APN Outdoor said of Ben White’s promotion, “Over his two years in the business Ben has shown an outstanding commitment to leadership and excellence at APN Outdoor, consistently demonstrating the initiative and hard work required to excel in the role of a Group Sales Manager. Ben’s enthusiasm for Outdoor, understanding of his client’s needs, and ability to embody the business objectives day to day make him an excellent candidate for this role and we look forward to watching him excel.”
Janine Wood, general manager- marketing, APN Outdoor commented on the appointment “Nicky joins us at a pivotal time in our business, as we continue to invest in research and re-assert ourselves as the leaders in Outdoor Attention. Expanding our research department to take advantage of growing opportunities and prospects as well as meet the rising demands of our customers has been a natural progression as leaders in this space. Nicky comes to us with an exceptional amount of general research and outdoor specific experience and we are very pleased to welcome her aboard in this newly created role.”
Nicky Akom’s appointment is effective immediately, coinciding with 2016 MOVE data release and Ben White will be stepping into his new position as group sales manager in the coming weeks.
The team changes come at an exciting time for APN Outdoor who have recently announced strong half yearly results in their first six months as a publicly listed company and who are actively finishing 2015 with a sustained commitment to their Elite Screen roll out and notable developments at Sydney Airport.
