Kate Edwards Returns From Maternity Leave To Become CEO Of KONTENTED

Founder and managing director of KONTENTED, Kate Edwards, returns from maternity leave this week to take up the newly created role of chief executive officer of KONTENTED, Australia’s largest independent content strategy and activation company. Edwards will commence in the CEO role from March 1 2016.

Shae Constantine, who stepped in to fill Edwards’ shoes while she was on maternity leave, will remain at KONTENTED as general manager and head of studio.

Under the tenure of Constantine, KONTENTED has gone from strength to strength, with new client signings including Mamamia Women’s Network, Octogon and SBS, as well as maintaining the company’s strong existing client base.

On returning to KONTENTED, Edwards said, “I am excited to return to KONTENTED – my first baby – and see all the amazing projects the team has worked on in my absence.

“I’m also thrilled that Shae has decided to remain with us as general manager, giving me time to work more closely with our key client, distribution and publishing partners. 2016 is shaping up to be a huge year for content marketing and KONTENTED is at the top of its game with the best people in place to maximise our collective success.”

Newly appointment general manager Shae Constantine said, “It’s been a fantastic 12 months for the business and having Kate back as CEO will only further propel KONTENTED forward.

“I’m thrilled to be staying on as general manager where I can continue to guide our fantastic team and help Kate achieve KONTENTED’s goals for 2016 and beyond.  We are all looking forward to rolling our up sleeves and working even harder for our clients and partners to create amazing campaigns.”

KONTENTED was founded by Kate Edwards in 2011 and has since grown to become Australia’s leading independent content creation and activation company with a list of clients that includes XBOX, Kennards Hire, Hachette, USP, MediaVest and many more.
