Jamie Oliver’s New Online Woolies Ad Features Cute Son And Warped Vegetables

Jamie Oliver and his son Buddy will star together in a new online commercial to introduce the latest range of The Odd Bunch, delicious fresh produce that doesn’t always look perfect, but tastes great and is cheaper.

For the first time, Jamie and his four-year-old son appear together in the kitchen, playing around with the unusual shaped carrots, parsnips, potatoes and pumpkins from The Odd Bunch range.

The new video follows the successful launch of The Odd Bunch range in December 2014 and is the latest announcement to come from the partnership between Woolworths, the Fresh Food People, and Jamie Oliver.

Chief marketing officer, Woolworths Supermarkets, Tony Phillips, said it was a great to have Jamie Oliver and his son Buddy front the next commercial for The Odd Bunch.

“As Australia’s Fresh Food People, we’re committed to inspiring a healthier Australia, including the next generation of fresh food kids. Kids like Buddy.

“Jamie shares our passion to help reduce food waste, deliver fresh produce at great prices and help farmers to sell more fruit and veg. It’s this shared commitment and Jamie’s fun and relaxed humour that made the chef and his son the perfect duo for The Odd Bunch commercial,” he said.

The 60 second commercial can be viewed from Tuesday 3 February on the Woolworths Facebook page and from Wednesday 4 February on the Woolworths YouTube channel.
