Islamic TV Channel Inadvertently Broadcasts Hardcore Porn

Viewers to the Islamic TV station Touba TV, in the west African nation of Senegal, copped a raunchy eyeful last week when their typical prayer sessions and Koranic verse recitals were unexpectedly interrupted by a hardcore adult film.

The X-rated footage apparently aired for as long as 20 minutes, while viewers had tuned-in expecting a theological sermon from local imams.

How the religious program managed to be interrupted by the saucy shenanigans is yet to be determined, with TV bosses labelling the sweaty intrusion a “satanic trick” and a “criminal act”.

Touba’s program director Djibril Nado insisted the adult content had emanated from outside the broadcaster.

“It’s a sabotage because these are images that come from outside,” Nado told local media. “We talk about a satanic approach because there are always hands behind it.”

And the Senegalese media watchdog, the CNRA, is apparently none to happy, demanding an explanation from the network.

“We have asked Touba TV how this unacceptable mistake could happen for almost 30 minutes,” an CNRA official told the Reuters news service.

In response, Touba issued a statement that read: “As a religious channel, the management of Touba TV and all our audience members are outraged and unreservedly condemn this criminal act which seems to be sabotage and a satanic trick designed to undermine a channel which is known to stand for Islamic values and teachings.”
