Introducing The Newest Agency Group: The Haus

Hand opening red curtain.

Today sees the official launch of a new kind of independent agency group model, The Haus.

The concept, which has evolved from the former Hausmann Group, is based on creating specialist service agencies around a hub of shared deep expertise and practical support.

This model is designed to allow nascent agencies to hit the ground running by providing the support structures and specialist resource which many start-ups cannot access, giving them scale and momentum from day one.

The Haus Agencies

After two years of growth as a series of joint ventures with industry specialists, The Haus consists of five agency businesses: integrated consumer communications agency, Hausmann; specialist healthcare agency, Health Haus; brand experience and engagement marketing agency, Banter; strategic brand and reputation consultancy, Illuminate; and recently launched integrated social agency, GROUND.

In addition, the Haus also incorporates HSPR, Australia’s only PR industry initiated RTO which provides nationally recognised qualifications and professional development training.

Judi Hausmann, CEO of The Haus commented:, “This specialist hub model has worked really well for us since it began with the launch of Banter in January 2016.

“It allows us to quickly and effectively turn fresh business ideas into working reality, ensuring our group offering is always growing ahead of the pace of our clients’ needs.

“This ensures that clients are well serviced, inspired and rewarded, while enjoying new, often cross-agency, solutions to their business challenges.”

On the subject of the agency start up model she commented, “As a long-term entrepreneur, I’m a big believer in start-ups and know the resources needed to launch and quickly scale a compelling start-up agency offering are often prohibitive.

“I have never felt comfortable with the idea of selling my business so my solution was to create a model which is somewhere between an agency group and a start-up incubator, where business growth comes through nurturing partnerships with the next generation of entrepreneurs.

“The Haus is built around partnerships with proven talent, providing them with the platform they need to nurture and develop their ideas and bring them to market quickly and impactfully.

“My door is always open to smart people with smart ideas, looking to start their own thing – if this is you, I’d love to chat!”.

The Haus’ two most established members, Hausmann (formerly Hausmann Communications), and Health Haus also launched rebrands and enhanced offerings today.
