Internet Explodes With Powerball Losers

Unsurprisingly you didn’t win US$2.4 billion in the US Powerball, unless you are from Chino Hills, a suburb of Los Angeles. The winning numbers are 4-8-19-27-34 and Powerball 10.

California Lottery officials announced on Twitter that someone in Chino Hills, a suburb of Los Angeles, had purchased a ticket with the winning combination.

The odds of winning the cash was less than one in 292.2 million. To put that into perspective, according to Forbes you have one in 10,000 chance of being injured by a toilet, you have one in 616,488 of being killed by a firework and a one in 662,000 chance of winning an Olympic Gold medal.

But those odds haven’t stopped people tweeting their rage:
